AM post - Over the weekend I became an athlete! I participated in my first team triathlon. It was fun. It gave me butterflies in my stomach, but I did it!!!! I wasn't the last runner in. My knee caps didn't fall off, and I haven't had the desire to eat crap since I finished. I never was a runner, but, I think I could learn to like it.
Have you read the Slow Fat Triathlete book. First of all, its very good. Secondly, its lighthearted and funny, and third, its motivating for big athena girls like myself... Highly recommended.
PM post - This afternoon I talked with my life coach (a really awesome benefit my employer provides), we've set some goals. I need to ask myself do I really WANT this food that I put in my body. What good will it do me? Is it worth it? Am I really hungry. Now that I'm starting to exercise more, I need to watch what goes down the tube.
