View LENSCHER's food & exercise for this day
snack time after the county fair last night. Hubby was on his way home and the 4 year old decided she wanted pancakes. So, making pancakes for her and also making a great spicy mustard, egg, dried beef and cheese sandwich on the panini grill, my daughter exclaims that she wants to go live with my sister because she is skinny and she only likes skinny people, and she hates mommy because she's fat...blah blah...she has said this before, and I think its aweful. How do I change the behavior.
Then, hubby gets home, while eating 2 excellent sandwiches I made for him with love, he questions whether or not I should be eating the pancake or not, isn't that too many calories. Can you use butter on that. Isn't that too much syrup.
I almost blew up! I drug him (verbally of course) over to the computer and showed him
CalorieKing.com and showed him where my calories were with my exercise and added in the pancakes. Still under.
Why does he not get it. He makes me want to pull my hair out...and eat a brownie! I hate it! Help! It's really getting old.

I don't respond well to the food police either. I know he does it because he is worried about my health. But in the past I would rebel and eat the brownie or whatever, but I was only hurting myself. He didn't understand that I don't respond to that kind of help or nagging. He is learning not to nag and I am trying not to eat out of rebellion. Your wedding picure is beautiful.

Wow. I would love to be 168.50 pounds! Sorry you had to go through that but as I have found Husbands are not always supportive of there wife's when watching their weight. I have gone on so many diets it would make your head spin. I weight a whooping 308 pounds so tell him he should be thankful you have only a 49.5 pounds yet to your goal and not 160 pounds. I have found that when I am really losing my weight my husband goes is "let kill the diet" mode. He will tell me he wants me to lose but then will tempt you with all the things you have problems with. Ice cream, candy, cookies..etc. It's like they want you to lose but they don't? Keep the faith and try not to get too upset with him. He is a man and men sometimes say and do dumb things to there wife's. Even if they love them. I have yet to find one man out there that does not say or do things they regret or woman for that matter. Stay true to you and what you are aiming for.
