Thursday, Jun 25 2009 - The gas station
View LENSCHER's food & exercise for this day
Small town Iowa mom and pop gas stations are not very good places to stop for supper.

They had muffins, no fruit. They had a microwave, but nothing frozen to cook in it. The sandwiches premade looked about 3 days old. So I was left with mostly unhealthy choices. And I gave in because I was in a hurry.
I think I will need to plan better if I know that I have a busy night. I really thought I could find something better/more appealing and could avoid the McDonalds drive through, but apparently, gas stations are not meant to provide supper. Next time, I will vote for a McDonalds hamburger, hold the fries and drink.
Even those of us who have lost weight and are getting to be pretty good at flub up sometimes, but at least the scale didn't reflect it because I stayed in my range.
On a positive note: My daughter and I are joining my husbands church officially on Sunday.
I have been a member of the church I grew up in and him of his.
I really just wanted us all to worship together. And have a fresh view on things.
There's a ceremony and everything. Since Annika has cousins and grandparents at my church too, I told her, which I think is true to some degree, that Jesus really wanted us to go to the new church. She said ok. The new pastor that's coming should be muscially inclined and kid focused, so should be good.
Over and out,

Gas stations = EVILLLLLLLLLL. They NEVER have anything good and even if they are good, they're SUPER expensive stuff! Like Kashi bars...WTF?? LOL Hey what was your SFX (stress fracture)? I've had several...the last one was my third metatarsal (middle toe) on my left foot. No running for a month b/c of one little blip in my friggin toe! Ugh.
