View LITA's food & exercise for this day

So I stopped at the store last night and bought some chocolate because I just couldn't get it off my mind. I made a point of buying dark chocolate pieces - they look like M&Ms. When I got home, I put the bag on the counter and that's just where I found it this morning. I didn't have to to open it and eat it. It was enough to know I had it and could eat it anytime. I opened it this morning and portioned out half a serving into a baggie to bring to work for "those times." Half a serving is 25 pieces and 90 calories. Better still, 5 pieces is only 18 calories and I actually can stop at only 5 pieces when I know I can always have the rest should I choose.
Tonight we're meeting up with my son and his daughters for dinner. I looked up the menu online and decided I will have the BBQ chicken salad with the dressing on the side. It comes with a muffin that I will ask them to pack to go. I've already promised it to my stepdaughter for her breakfast. As long as I don't sit and look at the menu I'll be fine. Hubs and I are going to walk before dinner since my son will arrive about 45 minutes after I get off work. That makes it easier on my mind since I won't want to walk after I get home.

Lita...this is a great strategy. I find that if I am really craving something I better eat it, with some level of control. If I do not, I find myself eating everything else and not getting satisfied. Welcome to CK and keep up the good work:thumbu2::hi:
