I discovered to my delight that I have lost 3 and 1/2 inches from my waist in the past couple of months. That was so awesome! I am totally on my way. I know this is going to take a long time and I'm okay with that since my number one goal is to be healthy. As much as I would love to drop 5 pounds or more every week, I know that would be so bad for my health and I would just gain it all back as soon as I started eating again. At my age, I'm willing to take my time and do this right.

I've been walking most days and I am always amazed at how much better I feel afterwards. Tonight I was so tired I didn't want to walk and when I was walking I wanted to stop and ask my husband to get the car and pick me up. I stopped for a breather and kept going through the pain. I got home, started dinner and now I'm actually feeling pretty good. I'll sleep good tonight.
