Monday, Jun 4 2012 - Another Party put me in the RED
View LITA's food & exercise for this day
Okay, it wasn't the party, it was everything I put in my mouth. My youngest granddaughter turns 1 this week. Her parents held her party Saturday afternoon and of course I had to attend. I brought a fantastic salad that was fairly popular. Though not as popular as the pizza or the cupcakes. The children gathered around a veggie tray with Ranch which was okay. After all, they were running back and forth and climbing up and down - expending huge amounts of energy. I also expended energey - chasing the 3 year old and then swinging her on a swing followed by walking the one year old - grandma stuff. I didn't realize the Kirkland pizzas from Costxo were so good. They are. Granted they were cut into small pieces - 3-4 bites for me, maybe 2 for hubs. Still I had 5 or 6 over the course of the party. Then there were the cupcakes. Cheryl's cupcakes aren't in the database and I'm not going to ask her what's in them. I just picked one of the higher calorie cupcakes and plugged those numbers into my log. I had two - 1 there and 1 after I got home. I am weak when it comes to certain food items. Pizza, tacos, chips and salsa, oh, and Cheryl's cupcakes. She's a chef and a purist. You won't find artificial anything in her creations, except maybe food coloring. The theme of the party was the Very Hungry Caterpillar, so she had to use some food coloring to make the green frosting. Oh well, I had fun and I'll see the results tomorrow morning when I weigh in. Who knows, maybe it will be a favorable weigh-in.
Sunday was a good day. I went through my closet and packed up all of my big winter clothes and coats in plastic bags for donation. There will be no going back and I will only be smaller by next winter, so I figured I'd just get rid of everything. I unpacked all the spring/summer clothes, washed them and hung them in the closet. It was a very productive day and I felt good getting rid of those fat clothes. I'm almost at my 20% mark so it's time to look ahead to the next culling. I have another closet that's full of stuff I couldn't wear anymore. I wonder how much of it I can wear now or will be able to wear in another 5-10 pounds? Exciting times ahead!

Way to go Lita!
 I think your weigh in will be good. And if it's not what you hope for don't sweat it. Your still doing great! I have a stack of too large pants. I am going to keep one pair of jeans and a shirt just to see the difference this time next year. I also love how your attitude has changed. Your much more positive and upbeat and that will help you on your journey.
