Okay, it wasn't the party, it was everything I put in my mouth. My youngest granddaughter turns 1 this week. Her parents held her party Saturday afternoon and of course I had to attend. I brought a fantastic salad that was fairly popular. Though not as popular as the pizza or the cupcakes. The children gathered around a veggie tray with Ranch which was okay. After all, they were running back and forth and climbing up and down - expending huge amounts of energy. I also expended energey - chasing...A few whys

I was reading in another thread yesterday where someone had posted negative comments about obese people. I don't know why I read that drivel, but I am strangely drawn to it. I always hope to find some glimmer of compassion, but seldom find it. Anyway, as those things often do, the conversation turned to the whys which sadly led to finger pointing and the haters came out of the woodwork.
