A few days ago I shared something heartfelt with another CK member who I thought was my friend. She then reposted what I said as her own story which irritated me because that's like lying in my mind. It doesn't help that my post to her was related to my mother who died in a fire on August 4th, 2004. Bad timing I guess. Now I discover she's no longer listed as one of my "friends' so I can only guess she decided to unfriend me. I was beginning to think it was a lost cause and I would never lose that first 20 pounds. But it finally happened and I am very happy about it. I'm 8 pounds away from my interim goal and 19 pounds away from onederland. I can hardly wait. I did everything I needed to do to get off on the right foot this week so all I have to do now is stick with the plan.Not really, but...

I did it! I DID IT!!! I finally met my weight loss goal and I feel great! I look fantastic! All of my numbers are so good that my doc took me off most of my meds. Hubs and I are having the best sex we've ever had - even better than when we were dating! I sleep good. I run! I can keep up with my granddaughters! I can climb up the 11 flights of stairs to get to my office without feeling like I need oxygen! I was able to go shopping for new clothes in the petite department. What gorgeous clothes! I...Ouch! That was pretty stupid!

So I've been on vacation for a week and I'm back to work today. It was a stay-cay and it was fun until Saturday. Hubs and I worked hard on the house doing all that deep cleaning most folks do in the spring. At least I guess most folks do it in the spring - that is why they call it spring cleaning right? Anyway we rearranged furniture, cleaned cielings, walls, floors, carpets, reorganized drawers and relined both kitchen and linen cupboards. All the plastic reusable containers that were litter...
