View LOVE2RUN's food & exercise for this day
as I contemplate the road I have traveled and the trials encountered along the way, I recall the worst times and the best of times.
The worst comment ever made to me was when I attempted one of many starts to lose weight. I joined a local gym. As I stood outside the personal trainers door, waiting for my turn to be weighed and measured, two young punk-a$$ kids, all beefed up from pumping iron, walk by. One looks at me and states "you might as well give up now, this gym can't help someone like you". They both start laughing heartily and slap each other on the back as they walk off. The personal trainer doesn't laugh, but the corner of her mouth twitches and she sighs, looks at me and says "come on, let's get this over with".
I had already pre-paid for 2 years at that gym, and I never went back.
For every negative, there is a positive.
The best comment ever made after my weight loss? A man is speaking to my husband and states "Damn, she's your wife? How the he!! did you get someone like her?"
Yeah, that felt good.

Susan, you are worth your weight in platinum! Then, and Now, too bad those people had "dust" in their eyes, and never saw the treasure in front of them, but obviously your husband saw clearly
