Peace…comes within the souls of men when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the Universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the center of the Universe dwells the Great spirit, and that this center is really everywhere. It is within each of us.

I love a good hike. It is there, with the beauty of the mountains, the peaceful sound of nature, the sweetness of solitude ~ solitude, which in abundance will drive a person insane, yet the lack thereof would reek havoc & mayhem for the masses of people bound together striving for unity in life ~ it is within these surroundings, then that I ponder that the vastness of the universe all begins with the small spark of life, and for all intense and purposes, that small spark of life is me.

Time was here before I existed, and time will go on long after I’m gone; but for my feeble mind, I can only grasp the concept that the universe only exist, because I exist.

I exist for my loved ones, and they exist for me. It works. I don’t need the bigger picture, I just need the solitude of my mountains, the beauty of my morning run, the bubbles in my bath, which cleanse and refresh my soul as well as my tired, aching body. I need the buzz of the city, the comfort of a good friend, the shouting voices of my children, and the love of my husband.

For that is my world and this is my universe. All wrapped up in a little Suzy nutshell.
