I easily take for granted the oh-so-many advantages I have throughout life; however, there is one aspect that without a doubt, I am grateful for each and every day. I am grateful for those who put their lives on the line and their families on hold, so that I may go throughout my existence in blissful ignorance. My gratitude extends to and beyond, the authorities who maintain law and balance, the fireman and rescue personnel, the politicians (yup, even they sacrifice and serve a purpose that albeit, is hard to recognize)....

but today, today and every day, I thank God for our Veterans, past, present and future. For whatever reason, for whatever purpose, for whatever design, they are there and they protect my country, my rights, my freedom, and mankind. Right or wrong, they are there and their sacrifice is a necessary evil. I am grateful each and every day, for each and every one, for each and every task they accomplish on my behalf.

So, with the greatest of appreciation expressed in the simplest way....
