Burn baby, burn!

Saturday, May 9th 2009

Stop, drop and burn. Nothing but nothing stops the workout. A forum topic has lead me to this entry. Halftheman pondering why someone can't workout without a gym and a member challenge - Up your minutes - organized by SMREXRO (Sarah).

I love exercise. I love intense, sweat dripping, face flushed, heart pounding, muscle failing, "OMG, can I do this?", exercise and I can find it any time, any where. But, let's face it, how much of that high intense exercise can a person do? I...

memories

Thursday, May 7th 2009

as I contemplate the road I have traveled and the trials encountered along the way, I recall the worst times and the best of times.

I realize that cancer has no prejudice and strikes those who don't smoke; but surely, with all the scientific evidence available, any smoker would know that lighting u...

time marches on

Monday, April 27th 2009

The 10 in 10 challenge ends today. I was not successful at losing the 10 lbs I committed too; however, a good time was had by all. I met some amazing people. I've glimpsed into their lives and allowed them into mine.

I have the hardest time letting go. When I sell a car, move, change jobs, losing a loved one or friend though death or lifes transition. Whenever something ends, it just seems so....final. Even when the past is filled with pleasant memories and the future is bright and pr...
