An explanation (sorta) as to why I took a break...

I know some are wondering why I left so abruptly, without explanation, and I don't have a straight answer. It just seemed that my life was being taken over, so I panicked and ran. Something I do often when I can't deal with the situation. A coping mechanism which served me well during my dysfunctional childhood, when I was too young to stand up for my rights and continually put down by peers and by my elders, whom I looked to for guidance and protection.Between the exercising, blogging,...

I have to leave CK for a little while. Nothing is wrong and everything is "A" okay; I just have some personal issues that need attention right now, so it's a good time for a break.I made some wonderful friends and I'll miss that contact I've grown so comfortable with; but sometimes the path of life takes us down a different road.
I wish everyone the best in their weight loss journey and hopefully, I'll be back soon.

Today is Monday. A beautiful, breezy, sunny day. A wonderful day to be alive. I have my health, my family, a job with stability, and the love of my life loves me back, just as passionately as I love him.I've defeated a battle with weight control, a fight that many are unable to conquer.
