The mischievous monkey and delicate "recital girl."

I think that I have finally uploaded the pic of the girls on Haloween. We went to the Harvest Carnival at church and they trunk-or-treated, bounced in the bounce house and played games until they dropped. They got waaaaay more candy than they would have if we went around our neighborhood. We live in an equistrian area with no sidewalks or street lights, so it's not a real trick-or-treat hot spot. Now, I just have to keep myself out of their candy bags! One really cute thing is that the candy bag my older one is using is the one her dad made in 8th grade home ec. So much fun!

We're off to childbirth class tonight. Our poor babysitters forgot about us last week! We had to call some friends to come over at the last minute to watch our girls. They felt really bad and offered us free babysitting this time, but I would never do that. They are such a sweet family and I know it was just a mix-up. It happens, especially when you come from a family with 8 kids. That's right, 8! They live a few streets over from us and the five oldest are all girls. I am pretty much set for babysitters forever (as long as they remember they are supposed to sit for me).

So, I am going to try to start walking again. Now that the weather is FINALLY cooling off, I really don't have much of an excuse anymore. If I walk to the horse park and back, that's about 1.5 miles, which is a great workout when you're pushing a double stroller on uneven dirt trails. I'm going to try and do that 4 days a week. If I don't do something soon, I'll be too out of shape to push this baby out!
