View MAMAMARTINEZ's food & exercise for this day

OK, before I start getting hate mail about what a mean mom I am, she was on his lap for all of about 2 seconds. I am not torturing her as badly as her facial expression indicates (i.e., bulging veins and visible molars). I thought that if I sat her down next to her sister, all would be well. As soon as I stepped back she broke out into this rage, which I call Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Mode, and I swooped in to rescue her. The camera guy just happened to snap a picture, and I couldn't resist buying it. I really thought that this was her year to enjoy the Santa experience. Ever since her first Christmas, the Santa picture has consisted of her sister's consumate professionalism and her tantrum. Oh well, there's always next year, right?

My sister's visit went well. She cleaned Big Girl's room, which is a huge blessing because I am getting way to big to bend over and pick up toys. Big Girl does help, but if we've had other kids over it just gets a little overwhelming. My sister also baked up some chocolate chip and M&M cookies. She left them all here. Grrrr! Then, my husband brought home a box of See's nuts and chews. What are these people trying to do to me?!?! The siren call of the See's is irresistable. Surely I will crash on the rocks and be devoured by their chocolately goodness. Ok, enough nerdy literary excuses. I just need to stay out of the laundry room pantry today. What a great excuse not to do laundry!

That's about it. Have a great weekend everyone!

Before the doc says anything, tell him/her you :scream2: DO NOT WANT TO HEAR IT. PERIOD. You are doing your best and unless there's some concern regarding things like edema or high blood pressure, etc., etc., etc. Leaving the doctor's office crying is a shame, IMO. Whew, there, I vented. :) We get enough $h!t from everyone else, do we really need to hear it from someone we're paying to care for us???? :) Okay, now I'm REALLY going to shut up. :laugh5:

How cute :) My son and my bff's daughter flat out refused pictures last year so we didn't get them. People could call that a bad mom too because I didn't force him :laugh5: .

I think the picture is funny! and I would never assume that you would leave her there for long ;) Oh See's is the *nearly* irresistible. I love that you're using them to avoid laundry :laugh5:
