View MAMAMARTINEZ's food & exercise for this day

I'm off to go camping (and by "camping" I mean in an RV- I'm not keen to try the whole newborn in a tent thing). We're in the desert until Sunday night. I think it will be a nice relaxing time. My husband will have the girls out on the trail some of the time, so Chachi and I will hang out at camp and read. I have no food plan for this trip other than not to snack 24/7. I planned out our meals and they are relatively wholesome.

Speaking of Chachi, did someone say 7 HOURS! :rock1::rock1::rock1: . He gave me 4 hours and then 3 hours. It was actually longer than that if you count the time he was asleep on me while I wasted my life away with TBL and AI. Some of those kids on AI are just dreadful! Poor things. If I didn't have DVR, I don't think I could sit through the bad performances followed by Kara and Paula's "Who Can Talk the Most Nonsense" contest.

So I feel like I am at a place of wanting to be motivated about diet and exercise, but falling short of actual motivation. Maybe it has something to do with not being able to workout yet??? We walked down to the horse park near our house on Saturday and, man am I out of shape. I was draggin' my big ol' butt big time! I used to RUN that route while pushing two kids in the double jogger and then I would run 1.5 more miles. It's going to be a long road back to my former self. I am dying to try the Wii fit out. I just feel like I am still a ways off from being able to exercise properly without hurting myself. One of the problems is that my tailbone and the area surrounding it are still pretty sore (not to mention some other areas). I guess I just have to give it a little more time :cry4: .

In happier news, our church has started a churchwide study that our pastor wrote, "My Journey With Jesus." It's a 40-day devotional that coincides with the Lentin period. We're of the Evangelical variety, so we don't necessarily do Lent. It's just something to unify the body leading up to the Easter celebration. It's pretty cool. I'll be spending a lot of time in prayer, so if you have anything you'd like me to be praying for you, I would count it a blessing. You all have been such a blessing to me, and I am just so thankful for your support, encouragement, and ability to make me pee my pants laughing. Just PM me. You can also check it out for yourself if you are so inclined: www.evfree.net.

OK, don't know what my Internet access will be like out there, but if I can't get on, have a fabulous end to your week and an even better weekend. :heart2:

I hope you have such a great time! Rv-ing sounds like a lot of fun, I would love to do that. It will be nice for you to be outdoors but still safe from all the elements. You're right i need to get a new name for him, his real name is too complicated :)

I am definitely as obsessed with reality TV as you. And yes - Paula and Kara both seem to have the amazing ability to talk and talk and talk and say absolutely nothing. I can't imagine a baby in a tent either - RV is definitely the way to go. Have fun!!!!!

:hi: I hope to have good reasons to make you pee your pants laughing...sometime soon!//I was eyeing Rocco myself last night, he was an &*@ when he was doing "The Restaurant" but he sure looked better...and like he actually ATE the food he cooked.//Your devotional sounds like a great way to reconnect with Jesus, take it for all its worth.
