It's strange to be getting messages to increase my calories but I guess the program is set for a 4-5 lb. monthly weight loss. I also got a message that I shouldn't exceed a weekly weight loss of 2 lbs. so I'm figuring there's some wiggle room. I've reset my software program to a higher activity level and that adds 150 calories to my target but a full day in the yard & garden would still double my calorie target according to the website and that just seems counterintuitive to the whole notion of establishing a daily routine.
So I'll stick with the daily calorie target and see where I am after my second week. If I'm losing more than 2 lbs./week I'll increase my calories but I really want to lose at least that so I can comfortably wear my summer clothes within the next few weeks.
And I'll try to spend a little more time investigating the info here at the website.
