A chilly morning, perfect for a 'extra' trip to the park. I encouraged a friend to join me this morning and we took a more leisurely pace, enjoying the magnificent display of ferns brought on by the recent rain.

We're having dinner out this evening, the same Italian restaurant, the same minestrone and salad but I'm looking forward to it. I'll have a half cup of cottage cheese before we go so I'll be able to limit myself to one slice of bread. Then we're going to see a Dutch film by Paul Verhoevan, "Black Book". Should be interesting.
