View MARCYINCNY1's food & exercise for this day
It's a great year for local strawberries and so, of course, as the season nears its peak, my freezer begins to behave oddly.
Yesterday afternoon, when I opened it, the temp seemed high for the short time I was in there but it was running and so I thought it might be in the defrost cycle. I checked it later and the temp was down but it was still running. 11:30 it was still running, so I turned it off and emptied it into all the various 'styrafoam' coolers I never seem to be able to throw out.
I've noticed ice collecting off and on in the bottom of the freezer so I'm hoping something was plugged up and defrosting it will resolve the problem. I'll know soon when I turn it back on.
Meanwhile I'm not really keeping track of all the berries I'm eating this week. As I wash and trim them I eat a good many. How bad can they be? And I'm not gonna count all the raspberries either. Or the blueberries.
Gorgeous weather. Almost chilly this morning.
(Finally figured out how to take photo small enough to post.)

Good luck with the freezer. Ours went out last year and we were gone for two days. What a mess when we got home.
:( The berries sound yummy.
