Good Night Moon

Tuesday, July 31st 2007

The house is actually chilly this morning, about 65º/18º, after a perfect summer day yesterday with a high of 83º/28º.

What a gorgeous night. We watched the spectacular full moon rise as we drove home from the ballpark. One of Jim's Ski Patrol friends had tickets for Fireman's Night and the weather was so nice it seemed to be our best bet for getting to a game this season. By the time I did my first hill I was feeling like an entirely different person. Usually a half tab is sufficient but I think the grass pollens are at an all-time high right now.

Le Tour

Thursday, July 26th 2007

It's turned into a strange week. I never seemed to get up to speed after sitting through the morning on Monday to follow the race in the gorgeous Pyrenees.

I think I've been cutting it close with the diet and exercise and it doesn't take much to throw me off. This week there seems to be a new allergen in the air and the last two mornings I've wakened with a nasty sinus headache.
