Yesterday, along with a couple of friends, I did an 'Eat Local' meal. Everyone else had menus with several different dishes but since we've been dieting my meals have gotten very simple. For one thing, I just can't eat that much in one sitting anymore but I also haven't been interested in putting in the time to figure the calories, etc. for a lot of recipes. I expect to be adding recipes regularly once I lose the weight and the weather changes but for now I'm keeping it simple. And local.

Last night, a scrumptious pork roast on the grill (in the kettle) from Sweet Grass Farm, new potatoes and snow peas from local co growers and a few Mirabelle golden cherry tomatoes and scallions from the garden. Very good.
