My husband never says much about my weight one way or another. I guess I'd rather have it that way than have him nagging me when I gain. I've told him how much I've lost every five pounds so he's known I'm down 20 pounds and that I consider the next pound a big deal. (I don't actually mention what I weigh primarily because I know my scale isn't accurate and it only gives me a relative idea of where I am.)

So I was absolutely gobsmacked last night when he gave me a little package to celebrate losing that last pound. It's a beautiful little raspberry pendent. I tried to take a picture of it myself but I couldn't do it justice and get a photo small enough to upload so I took one from the jeweler's website.

I love it. And him. Maybe it will actually remind me not to overdo it with the berries next season!
