I guess it's my own fault; if I'd done CKU at THE BEGINNING I wouldn't have been confused on this point.

"The general recommendation is that 40-60 percent of your calories come from carbohydrates. At 1200 calories, you should aim for around 40 percent (120g per 1200 calories), and at 2500 calories, aim for around 60 percent (345g per 2500 calories)."

So it turns out the targets that the CK Diet and Exercise Manager have set for me are accurate and the note I get in the online summary recommending 40-60% doesn't mean I should be shooting for 50% as I have been.

It will be interesting to see what difference it makes in the coming week.

Meanwhile I made my first pizza of the season with King Arthur's wonderful organic white whole wheat flour, Black Plum tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, my Profuma di Genova basil and Pasolivo first press olive oil. (Couldn't take a picture because The Mister took the camera to Ohio.) My friend and I had a glass of wine with the pizza and settled back to watch one of our all-time favorites, "Truly Madly Deeply". We LOVE Alan Rickman.

:wave1: Your pizza sounds so good....Yes going to CKU is great..I learned alot....I am bad though I worry more about the right balance of calories than I do a balance of the other things...Always a little high in carbs but the bulk of them come from good stuff...Have a great Saturday.:)
