I still haven't moved through this lethargic dead-in-the-water condition and it's getting old. I look back and see that I'm still within the pattern of the previous two months but still...

The heat and humidity aren't helping and now the Red Sox are down in their series with the Yankees and will be hoping to avoid a sweep this afternoon. I don't know if I'm up to listening to it this afternoon. How does a team come back from drubbing like the one the Yankees got from the Tigers on Monday anyway?

Still I enjoy the distraction the baseball affords. My mother was watching the game when the Indians made the triple play last weekend and I enjoyed David Wells pitching/hitting! in NYC again even if it meant a loss for the Mets.

Visibility was nil out at the park this morning; oh for a drop in the humidity.
