I made it to another yoga-Pilates class this morning. Knowing the routine, I followed along for the most part but skipped some of the exercises/positions that work muscles I'm strengthening & toning in other activities and spent the time instead working on muscles that really need it.

I read Miriam's blog about beech trees this morning and it reminded me that in planning replacements for the box elders out back I'd forgotten that I wanted to include a copper beech. My neighbors down the road have two mature trees that are spectacular, especially in the spring. We won't plant anything until next spring but I'd like to get over to the Manlius Shade Tree Farm in the next week or so to get some idea of what we can do when the time comes.
