I remember seeing the chocolate covered Altoids when they were added to the CK database and thinking, "Why?" I'd never had an Altoid and I like my chocolate straight so I didn't care one way or the other. But this weekend the nephew gave me a box of the cinnamon and one of the peppermint chocolate covered Altoids and I haven't been able to leave them alone. Maybe in part it's because I've had so few sweets recently but it's also because they do have great, concentrated flavor.

Another record high yesterday and perfectly miserable sleeping weather last night; it was 73º/23º before 7am when I came downstairs. There's rain in the forecast for the next couple of days and I hope we get it; everything has dried out again I haven't done much in the yard/garden since the last rain...
