We'll probably be seeing the peak of the fall color today with rain coming tomorrow. Yesterday was beautiful, not a cloud in the sky, and there were lots of people walking around the lakes at the park.

I'm trying to get a few things done before I head downtown this morning to check in on my uncle and my cousin while my aunt is having surgery to replace a heart valve and, I think, put in a stent or two. They were to drive up from Ithaca early this morning so I expect they'll head home once my aunt is out of recovery. I have no idea if they'll want to come out to the house at any point so I'll just have to play it by ear.

I'm really hoping to have an hour or so this afternoon to do a short ride on my road bike since I finally got some gloves to replace the ones I can't find.

At this point I really can't but much of a dent in all the yard & garden work that I didn't get done so I may as well use the opportunity to log some exercise time.
