Magnificent moonlight and the first frost last night. I expect the eggplants that were still looking so good yesterday will be a sad sight today.

Yesterday was beautiful weather and I finally got in a good ride on my road bike. I would have gone further but Jim wasn't around as backup and it's been awhile since I repaired a flat. I'd really like to get in at least one more ride now that I realize I'm in much better shape than I'd thought.

Later in the afternoon I went down to the hospital to visit my aunt and see my cousin. My aunt looks good considering what she's been through and she had her usual pink cheeks. My cousin seems a bit lost but he's hanging in there.

I'm heading to the park this morning before rain moves in later today. That will make for a heavy dose of exercise over three days so I'm planning to coast a bit over the wet weekend.
