It's frightening how little it takes these days to throw me off track. Four days without a trip to the park and seems like a month.


Down the road a bit from my purveyor of pasture raised meats, Wendy at Sweet Grass Farm.

I've just felt the need to concentrate instead on reestablishing some kind of order around the house after putting things on hold in part because of the two weeks of uncertainty about the refrigerator. After the repairman came out for a third time on Friday and finally got the freezer compressor working again, I was able to move stuff around and get some idea of what was where. Now I'm in no hurry to start making a mess with a lot of holiday baking/cooking.

I'm off to the park. Yippee!
