My lips feel like two sausages and my eyes look like two water blisters. My feet and my hands are swollen but it's all worth it. We finally made up the postponed holiday get-together last night at the Empire Brewing Co. and I ate almost an entire bowl of their wonderful Big Easy Gumbo.

I know I don't tolerate the salt very well but I'm surprised how little appetite I have this morning. I think I'll stick a Kashi bar in my pocket before I head to the park ahead of the snow storm that's bearing down on us...
