Yesterday we picked up Marilyn and had something to eat at Dominick's before going up the hill to The Palace to see "Into the Wild". It was a nice outing on a frigid, starry night. The movie however, wasn't as satisfying as I'd been led to believe. Another case of a book, like "The Perfect Storm", that should never have been made into a movie?

So I'm two for three. We watched a Netflix copy of "Rare Birds" on New Year's Eve, a quirky Canadian comedy we all enjoyed. But "Once" which I received as a gift, was a huge disappointment; I liked some things about it but why, why, why did the boy go through all trouble of making a recording with the girl and then hightail it for London??
