View MARCYINCNY1's food & exercise for this day
The low temp this morning was 43º/6º, at 8AM it's 53º/12º and only what were the deepest piles of snow persist. It is not my fault if the weather and the influx of seed catalogues conspire to distract me from everything else. It's just not.
Burpee's Tomato Best of Show Collection: Razzle Dazzle Hybrid, a unique deep raspberry slicer with exceptional texture and flavor, Tangerine Mama Hybrid, the new bright orange counterpart to Golden Mama Hybrid, the first yellow paste tomato to keep its bright hue when cooked, Italian Ice Hybrid, the sweet and extra mild cherry tomato, HoneyBunch, the honey-sweet miniature currant tomato.
So after doing a bang up job of getting the house neat & tidy last week I've been indulging my obsession with the computer version of graph paper and plotting this season's potager. Everything else has gone by the boards.

It is evil...evil, I say, to have to look at tomatoes in January. We have no hope here. Not a real tomato in sight. Even the ones at the grocery store are cardboard. I'm glad to see you're leaving yourself a big, long row of basil. Can't have enough of that. I'm thinking of pulling some pesto out of the freezer tonight. Yum!

Your garden plans are wonderful! I think it got up to about 70 in Louisville today! The temps actually caused me to think about working in the garden!

Oh, gosh, a woman after my own heart. I love it ... using the computer to plot the plan ... and the plan. Will we get to see a "before" photo of the actual plot in a future journal entry?
