As anyone who cares to look will notice, I was 250 calories over my target again yesterday. That would be due to the drinking chocolate we had when my recently widowed friend came by in the afternoon. But we had a good visit and never even got around to watching "The Dresser" as we'd planned.

Marilyn was surprised to see I'm still wearing the same sweat pants I was wearing 35 pounds ago so I'm taking a moment to acknowledge the value of good elastic. The pants may be a bit baggy at this point but they still snug up to my waist. I'm particularly happy about this because I've been stocking up since Cabela's started putting them in clearance several years ago and I now probably have, at my age, a lifetime supply.



Jim's appointment has been moved to Thursday so I'm off to the park and a bunch of errands including the Y.
