The 3-4 feet of lake effect snow stayed north of us yesterday and Jim 'only' got into about a foot of it on his trip to Lyonsdale. The band has dropped south this morning and it's snowing here with a likely accumulation of 3-4 inches.

After a dinner of walleye and some fabulous little Dutch yellow Pee Wee potatoes, we watched "Respiro" last night, one of the best Valentine's Day presents I ever gave myself and the perfect film this time of year when images of blue water and warm sunshine are what you need.

And I need it since we didn't run off with half the town this week for winter break in the Caribbean.

If I were going to run off, I think I'd rather go to someplace like Zanzibar...
