A New Lease on Life

First there's sunshine this morning and that in itself is cause for celebration around here.The other thing that's given me a boost is the improvement in my head. I finally went to drugs yesterday after 24 hours of stuffy ears and hypersensitivity to sound. I think I've had a lingering sinusitis for several weeks but the decongestant seems to have cleared it. I probably should break down and get a neti/netti pot.
All things considered I should finally be able to get back to the par...

I was buying sunflower seed at the local feed store last week and picked up a flyer for their 'Chick Days' in April. Six Rhode Island Reds ("...one of the most famous of all time popular breeds of truly American chickens. A great dual purpose foul [flyer spelling] with outstanding production and qualities. We've never been much for Valentine's Day but the past few years I've used the occasion as an excuse to buy myself a dvd. This year I got "Ratatouille" and I can't believe how much I'm looking forward to watching it tomorrow evening.
Meanwhile I haven't been to the park all week and with the mixture of sleet, snow and, beginning tomorrow, rain I don't know when I'll be able to get there. At least I'll be shoveling the driveway today for the second time this week.

Two New Brews

I opened a new bag of Green Mountain coffee yesterday morning and it's one of the best I've tried in awhile.
When I have a really good cup of coffee (after my first 12oz glass of water) I find I can put off my first food longer.
I've also been enjoying more tea the past few weeks and this one has been a lovely treat when I'm trying avoid nibbling.
