After the lowest temps of the season, 21º/-5, and a real hoarfrost in the morning, yesterday turned into a lovely fall day. I walked the Vista Trail and just as I was about to move off the bench I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was a beautiful young Northern Harrier sweeping the fields. I really should be using my CK blog to sort out what I'm doing and/or going to do with my diet and exercise since I've lost focus and need to adjust to the change of seasons but the past week or so I've been absorbed in several things any one of which makes my petty concerns seem unimportant or at least uninteresting.

Undone

Looks like the weather forecasters didn't even come close this weekend. I'd planned to do a bike ride yesterday but it was overcast and damp all day and it never got over 50º/10º.

Unfortunately I stopped for pumpkin cannoli in the morning thinking I would be working it off in the afternoon. Fortunately the cannolo I ate was worth every single calorie. I gave two to friends and the last one has Jim's name on it but I'm already thinking about stopping at Biscotti Cafe again next Saturd...
