Well thank you Mr. Lee. Curtis Lee pitched a fabulous game in that crumbling monument to excess and ego that is the NEW Yankee Stadium. Did I do my happy dance? Yes I did.
The game was a welcome distraction particularly because I've been plagued the past couple of days by two mind worms.

I decided to purchase a year's membership rather than go month-by-month. I figured if I was going to be here at least through the winter and spring I'd be paying as much as the full year.
One more thing that sabotaged me after my first year at CK was my expectation, an unrealistic one as it turns out, that my weight loss success was going to inspire others to get in shape and thereby reinforce my own effort.

One of my chores during my weekly stint at the food co-op yesterday morning was to restock the books and periodicals. One book that's been selling again lately is "Sugar Blues" by William Dufty. (Since most co-op members understand the problems with refined sugar I assume they're giving copies to other folks.)

If anyone comes by this way and can tell me why I sometimes see this on the "Daily Summary" page of my CK Nutrition & Exercise Manager, I'd love to know the reason. Not that I expect there's much I can do about it...
I should say I'm using a downloaded version because they didn't offer a hard copy for Macs when I bought it.

I got two things out of the event yesterday evening: a boatload of sodium and an introduction to Zumba!
My weight bounced up 2# this am; my feet, my hands, my lips were swollen and my eyes looked like two water blisters. I don't eat out often nowadays, don't eat prepared/processed foods and I think as a result I've become more sensitive to sodium. I didn't eat much yesterday evening but everything I did eat tasted salty to me even though no one else seemed to notice an excess.
