Normally seeing a nice drop on the scales this morning would motivate me to hit my all my targets for the next few days but this is BEER WEEK! I've decided that since life is short and the future uncertain in the best of times and even more so now, I'm going to a Beer Week event this evening.

Not that I'm a big beer drinker. As it happens The Mister's office is just above The Empire Brewing Company (he can take the elevator and step out into the middle of the pub) and so we have come to know this brew-pub well. And the concept of "the growler" but that's another post.

I like the food and the fact that most of it is sourced locally. I'm going to hike this morning and perhaps do the last bike ride of the year but I'm not going to log my food today.
