I got out on my town bike again yesterday and if the weather forecast pans out I may be able to ride again next week – after the snow showers on Friday.

I've also been washing windows and getting an inordinate amount of pleasure from the results because, as I think many people know, the longer you put it off and the more disgusting the windows get, the more dramatic the difference when you finally get them done.

I'm counting half the time I spend on these chores as exercise because it's more than I usually do and if the soreness in some of my muscles is any indication, I'm getting a bit of workout.

Now if I can just pull myself away from staring out this window...
