Like the weather, the temperatures, my weight has bounced around the past couple of weeks with no apparent rhyme or reason. Well there has been a little Lindt Creation 70% cherry & chili chocolate bar. But so many variables are changing I think I may just focus on staying comfortably below 150 and leave at that until the new year.
I wish we would get some real snow instead of the mud and ice that I've been slogging and sliding through out at the park.
Unknown people keep building, knocking down, rebuilding the cairns. I rebuilt this one last week.

I've been thinking about your cairns. Are you sure someone is knocking them down? Is it possible that some are too precarious to remain upright .. or perhaps an animal nudged one? It is disappointing whatever the cause. On the other hand, I see a bright side ... the pleasure of rebuilding, same rocks, different arrangement ... and another photograph to add to your collection.

Oh, but I love the cairns; they're mysterious when you don't know who built them! Now if I only remembered what the symbols mean to hikers (forgotten lore from my girl scout days)...
