I've gotten completely sidetracked. My cd player is in the shop. It's a pain to play cd's on a computer so I'm not playing my usual holiday stuff. Since I saw the trailer for "Nine" I've been playing the 2003 cast recording with the fine voice of Antonio Banderas. Why in world was he not cast in the movie? Why in the world is screwy Daniel Day Lewis doing it? That's wrong in every way.

Meanwhile I remember the real Guido. He was lovely, gone much too soon.



This weekend will be off the books. There's no way I can figure out how to log what I'll be eating. I'll skip the worst calorie dense foods but I'm just trying not to gain anything back.

I think that's the best any of us can do this time of year.
