I think it's fair to say I ratchetted up my weight loss effort beginning on Saturday so now four days out I'm down to a weight I haven't seen in probably fifteen years, half a pound less than the low I hit first time 'round with CK in 2007. I'm going to try to keep it close to the bone for at least another week, try to get to 136/22.5 before I back off a bit.

Meanwhile it snowed here yesterday, off and on all day. Some genius at Wayside Gardens thought it was a good idea to ship bare root roses to Central New York before May and my Honey Dijon™ roses arrived yesterday. I have one already and have come to like it better than any other rose I've tried.

Unfortunately the color is very difficult to capture in a photo. But at least it's not a picture of food today. But the name still references food! Maiale.
