Tater n ramps are not exactly a good weight loss choice but the season is so short.
I'm working around them as best I can.
Now the rhubarb in the shallow bed is about half grown and looking tempting...
My first week of the Meltdown Challenge is looking less than successful. The pound I lost early on showed up again this morning but I've also got some sore and swollen muscles from my first bike ride. Regardless, it felt so good to push the pedals again....

I reset my goal weight ten pounds lower than the goal CK had set for me when I got to the end of the silver program. Last fall a DEXA scan showed severe osteopenia in my 4th lumbar. Two weeks of my life gone in a haze and I'm still not up to snuff. (I can't remember the last time I heard that phrase, let alone used it myself, but it fits perfectly.)
Two weeks ago tomorrow I had a difficult dental implant done and didn't sleep well for several nights because of the pain. Then we had unseasonably warm weather triggering an early, vicious beginning of the allergy season. Last week I began to suspect my symptoms weren't due entirely to allergies and by Wednesday I had a fu...
