I have no idea what's going on or what I'm doing/not doing. I've been consistent the past few weeks, there have been no big events or changes but my weight has bounced around in this 138-141 range with no apparent rhyme or reason. I feel as though I'm trying to play some game but there aren't any rules.

The lack of progress with weight loss has just added another layer to my foul mood. In a repeat of last year our so-called spring has been lousy for the garden. After all kinds of wacky dry, warm weather in April, May has has so far been wet and cold. We woke up to snow on Sunday which isn't that unusual but the frost and freeze warnings of the past few nights are another story and I don't like to think about how long it's going to be before the ground is warm enough for tomato plants to do anything once they're set out.

The weather has been lousy for bicycling too. I can only hope that once I can log some miles on my road bike I'll see some change in my weight.

Meanwhile I did buy some jeans that fit. I'm sure no one really needs to see this but here it is, another example of the changes in sizing. It occurs to me that my old jeans are older than many members of CalorieKing but I've kept this pair for sentimental reasons. I was wearing them when I had a lovely encounter with Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman at Jacob's Pillow and on a wonderful trip to France, Spain and Portugal. Some women keep their wedding dresses, I keep these old jeans even though I don't expect to ever wear them again.

Nice demo ... and what I can see of your body looks pretty svelte. Hope you have not abandoned CK and will be back soon.

THANK YOU for demonstrating the sizes! As I've lost weight, I try on new clothes and I'm wearing sizes that I didn't wear at this same weight 27 years ago! Maybe I will get down to a size 10!

Now I understand why I haven't seen a realistic correlation between weight and pant size in these forums! Thank you for the graphic enlightenment. :-)

How has this resizing affected small people? Or there negative sizes?

:afraid4: Wow! What a difference! And I thought it was depressing trying on UK sized clothes (a size 10 here is a size 12 there)...
