I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted. Frankly most of the past two months I'd like to forget.
A few of the highlights:
-After six weeks the vague but persistent pain in my jaw finally localized and was relieved by my first root canal. Oh the blessed relief when the novacaine kicked in. Every muscle in my body relaxed for the first time in weeks. I was an absolute marshmallow during the whole procedure.
-In my state of bliss following the root canal I misstepped going upstairs and seriously jammed my toes. I didn't even make it 24 hours without Advil... A week later and the color is just beginning to fade.
-After ten days of front-end loaders, jackhammers and massive circular saws creating an ungodly amount of noise and dust, the back stoop and walkway were rebuilt only to find they messed up the rise on two of the steps. I have never, ever had a job done well the first time and I apparently never, ever will.

Root canal ... done that ... and need to have redone again (3rd time!!)

Jammed toes ... done that ... and have a crooked toe to show for it.
