I guess I'm in a holding pattern of shorts. My motivation just hasn't been the same since I reached my goal for Thanksgiving and now I'm coasting until the Zumba classes start the end of the month. NOW It's Winter

The next few months are typically my downfall.As is usually the case, I didnt gain weight during the holidays. I ate reasonable portions of pretty much anything I wanted but I made sure whatever I ate was worth every calorie. The ricotta cake was definitely worth the calories.
But now we go into the dead of winter here. Everything including my metabolism seems to slow down and even though I know theyre getting longer, the days seem terribly short. I pretty much just want to hiber...

I've gotten completely sidetracked. My cd player is in the shop. It's a pain to play cd's on a computer so I'm not playing my usual holiday stuff. Since I saw the trailer for "Nine" I've been playing the 2003 cast recording with the fine voice of Antonio Banderas. Why in world was he not cast in the movie? Why in the world is screwy Daniel Day Lewis doing it? That's wrong in every way.Meanwhile I remember the real Guido. He was lovely, gone much too soon.
