So today is the first "real" day of Calorie King for me.
I started logging food yesterday, but didn't do very well - I was almost all the way up to 2000 calories before dinner even started. But that's mostly because of all the bread and olive oil I had with lunch.
This morning got off to a good start. For some reason, Carrie set the alarm almost an hour earlier than we usually get up. So I lay in bed for a few minutes, and willed myself to get up and go for a walk/jog. I ran up to Welles Park, and ran around the park once, and walked it once, before coming home.
That was only ten minutes. Damn.
I put the leash on Scout (our dog) and took him for a ten minute walk. That was good too. Then breakfast, which was yogurt and granola. Plus plenty of water.
I brought a bottle of water with me to work today, and I plan to try to keep drinking water all day long. I'm about halfway through the bottle, so I've had one cup of water already. Pretty good.
