So I've been doing this for a week now, and it's pretty good.
Some updates - apparently I didn't actually know how much I really weighed when I started (either that or I lost five pounds this week). I also discovered that my clothes weigh about five pounds. So between not estimating for clothing, guessing my weight wrong, and maybe actually losing a couple of pounds, I already hit my first target of 225.
Somehow I think the next ten pounds will be a little harder to get rid of
Also, I got a bike today! Carrie and I rode our bikes to Tracy's house for a cookout. It was about 2.5 miles each way. Not too far, but I burned about as much calories riding as I consumed at the cookout (well, not really, but it offset it by quite a bit). I'm looking forward to riding my bike other places as well.
