I want to lose weight because I want the person I see in the mirror to match my mental image of myself.
I want to lose weight because I will be getting married in a year, and I would like to look nice in all of the pictures.
I want to lose weight because I am one of the fattest ones of my friends. I want to be able to do fun, active things with my friends, and being in better shape will allow for that.
Positive Rewards if I manage this change:
* Look nice in wedding photos
* Run the marathon
* Enjoy bike riding on the lakefront during the summer
* One day set a good health example for my children
Negative Impacts if I don't:
* I will look like a fatass in wedding photos, which will be looked at for years to come
* I will not be able to dress as nicely as I want
* I will hate the way I look in pictures
* I won't be able to do a lot of fun physical things like hiking or biking

Update - just rode my bike for about 13 miles, which took about 90 minutes. It was hard, but fun!
