I L.O.V.E. going into the City. Why I've never lived there... I don't know. I went in for a trade show for work Tuesday to Wednesday. Stayed at the Sax. OMG. It was PIMP.

It is a good thing I lost 3 pounds this week. The food situation was a little out of control. Every booth has chocolates. And I will say I had quite a few. Not as many as I normally would have, though. I had no regular pop. Just a couple diets. Went to Maggiono's for dinner. And had a number of cocktails. These dang Reps ...

No Lazy day.

I finally tackled the laundry beast that was lurking in the corner of my bedroom. It was scary, and I put it off as long as possible, but today I conquered it. Everything is folded or hung and put in it's place.

Why does this matter? I'm trying to do all the things I know I should be doing, but usually put off. This was one of those things. I figure I need to cut out my lazy behaviors if I ever want to be successful with my weight loss. It's a mind over matter thing for me.

Oh, Salt, why do I love thee so? It seems like every night before my weigh in day I have to consume too much salt. I didn't go over calories, but I'm sure tomorrow I'll be bloated and holding extra water weight. Live and Learn. Hopefully The scale will be nice to me.

I ate breakfast this morning: 1 cup Cheerios, 5oz fresh blueberries, 8oz unsweetend vanilla almond milk. It was so satisfying and filling, I felt great at work all the way until 1:30! Now I've just gotta keep it up!

I tend to think of myself as kinda selfish... maybe a little lazy. I like my "me" time, I like to relax and do what I want to do. **Here comes the excuse** You see, my work is very demanding. I put in a lot of hours and it can be pretty grueling. Not to mention the 100+ degree weather about 6 months out of the year. During the winter months if I'm outside it can be below zero degrees, if I'm inside anywhere from 40-65 degrees. Point is, I've made myself believe, to my own demise, that ...
